With 4-View (H4V®) you have a viewing experience that’s better than 3D and without glasses. The nano-photonic light field display allows for the generation of dynamic light fields through the LCD panel providing new opportunities for naked-eye 3D.

To take a 4-View selfie, hold the phone in portrait mode (hold phone vertically) using the front facing camera, and touch the 2D icon to switch to 4-View (4V).</p><p>When taking a rear camera photo, use the physical shutter button for the best experience. When holding this device in landscape mode, it will be located at the top right of the HYDROGEN One.</p><p>Switch in-between video and pictures capabilities by touching the camera icon on the bottom right of the interface.
You may find all your created and downloaded 4-View (H4V®) content in RED Player. All H4V® content is labeled with an H4V® graphic in the upper right-hand corner of the thumbnail.
You may share 4-View (H4V®) content in different ways:
1. Using Holopix, a customized social media platform where all HYDROGEN One users can share 4-View (H4V®) content amongst the community. Downloaded within RED | LeiaLoft application.
2. Sending another HYDROGEN One user a text within the Verizon Message application. Verizon Message is available for download via the Google Play Store.
You may share 4-View (H4V®) content but if the other user does not have the HYDROGEN One, the picture will show in 2D.
Your 2D images will be viewable and backed up within Google Photos. To see your 4-View (H4V®) photos, open the RED Player application.
Sound & Display
A Standard stereo system cannot reproduce accurately the sound that humans experience in real life. The spatial location of a sound is what gives it its three-dimensional aspect. A3D reproduces the sound in a natural way, A3D sound can come from any direction, even behind or above the listener.
If the audio file’s format programmed for mono, the audio playback will remain in mono.
Surround sound, for example Dolby or DTS, is not supported format.
When the phone is in portrait mode, the A3D speakers will not maintain the desired effect and/or sound performance.
From the notification pane, swipe down and select Audio 3D or you can access “Settings” and select “Sound” to find “Audio 3D” and chose to enable or disable.

Yes. By modifying your HYDROGEN One, unlocking the bootloader, or rooting your device, your actions will void your warranty.
You can check for updates by going directly into “Settings” within settings select “System” and select “System Updates” the device will scan to verify if you are up to date. If your device requires an update, it will notify you to download and install update.
You can review your battery consumption by going into “Settings” and selecting “Battery” within the options you may scroll down to review all applications that have been consuming battery since last full charge.
You can customize the font size by going into “Settings” and selecting “Accessibility”. Within accessibility you may select “Font Size” and you may choose your preference in font size.
In order to view the battery percentage, you must go into “Settings” and select “Battery”. Within battery, scroll to “Power Management” section and enable “Battery Percentage”
YES. By activating your fingerprint scanner, you are adding another level of security to your HYDROGEN One. To set up the fingerprint reader proceed with the following steps: Open settings Touch Security & location Touch Fingerprint under the Device security section Touch Next and select which security combination to use Choose if you want to have the password asked at the startup screen Set the password/passcode then confirm it Select if you want specific content is to be displayed when locked Then begin touching the fingerprint scanner multiple times until complete
Angle your fingerprint in multiple ways to improve the accuracy of the fingerprint scanner. Also keep in mind that if you restart your phone, the initial unlock will require the password that you used in combination to the finger print scanner. You can add up to 5 fingerprints or use multiple prints on one set up. This may however reduce the accuracy.
If your HYDROGEN One seems to be frozen or not powering on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power key for 30 seconds to attempt a simulated battery pull. This will completely turn off the device and force a restart. No data will be erased with this method.
Go to “Settings” select “System” then select “About Phone” select “About Phone” and “Status” an option for “IMEI” will be available for you to view. You can also dial *#06# from your phone dialer.

To switch between the different keyboards you have available on your HYDROGEN One, please follow the steps below:

Backup & Transfer

Make sure to back up all content to Google Drive. Launch Drive, press Menu -> Settings -> Backup and Reset. Ensure "Back up to Google Drive" is selected. Press Photos & videos and ensure "Original (limited to account storage)" option* is enabled under Upload Size. This ensures the 4 view metadata is intact during the back up and restore process. *Google Drive account size restrictions apply. No, during the repair process all data on your HYDROGEN One will be erased. Before obtaining service, it is important to make sure the backup and restore function is enabled. Launch Drive, press Menu -> Settings -> Backup and Reset. Ensure "Back up to Google Drive" is selected. RED HYDROGEN is not responsible for the loss of information while servicing your HYDROGEN One and does not offer any data transfer service.
RED HYDROGEN will provide a return shipping label and customs invoice for shipment back to the US for repair. Please follow packaging instructions that will be included with label. The customs invoice will indicate that the item is being returned to the US for repair or replacement and will include the tracking number of the original shipment sent to you. Please keep a copy of this customs invoice should you need it when phone is returned to you.
RED HYDROGEN ships the repaired/replaced phone back to you, along with the customs invoice which will indicate that the device was repaired at no cost to you as the customer.
We will also reference the tracking numbers of both the original shipment to you and the return to the US.
It will be your responsibility to understand the local customs requirements to ensure that you do not have to pay duties again on the reimportation of your phone
Buyers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) prior to returning any product. HYDROGEN One devices and accessories may only be returned for refund within fifteen (15) days of original delivery by RED HYDROGEN at the shipping address specified by the Buyer.

Returns must include all cords, adapters and documentation that were included with the product. The return must include the original undamaged product packaging. Any missing items or damaged items, including damaged packaging will be charged to the Buyer.
Upon receipt, your return will be processed and must pass RED HYDROGEN’s Inbound Quality Control (IQC). Once inspection is completed you can expect your refund to be credited to the method of original payment within 10 to 14 days.
